Terengganu the attraction destination Terengganu, which located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia is a attractions destination for tourist steeped in culture and heritage. Meanwhile, a large artificial lake, Lake Kenyir, which is a big attraction for day-trippers and those who enjoy nature holidays. Gorgeous island also attract holidaymakers from all over the world including Pulau Redang, Pulau Lang Tengah, Pulau Kapas and Pulau Perhentian. All have crystal waters, perfects beaches and incredible dive and snorkeling sites can attract beachgoers and snorkelers. In the same time, many travelers find the relatively rural and tranquil atmosphere in the state conducive to a relaxing holiday. Terengganu, which is having a majority of Malay Population, still strong with Malay culture and traditional pastime such as kite flying, top spinning and batik printing. The tradional activity of the state is fishing and its people lead a moderate, peaceful lifestyle in charming coastal towns and rustic villagers. Terengganu has a host of exciting events all year round. Recently been known internationally as the host of Monsoon Cup, which was first held in 2005 and then became an annual national sporting event. The event brought millions of Ringgit Malaysia of investment into the state from the private sectors and Malaysian Government. For this event, tourists flocked to Kuala Terengganu and Duyong, held during the monsoon season, which had previously been low season for tourism in Terengganu. Other popular towns are Dungun, which is famous for its turtle hatcheries, Kemaman/Chukai in the south with its nice coastal villages and traditional food, and Kerteh with its huge petro-chemical complexes.
